形态描述
体长，稍侧扁，尾柄宽长，甚侧扁。头小，平扁。口小，上位，横裂。眼大，眼间宽平。鳞大。无侧线。胸、腹鳍小；腹、臀鳍靠近；背、尾鳍大，圆形。雄鱼臀鳍部分鳍条延长，转化为输精器；雌鱼腹部圆凸。
